Description
Here for auction: Fairport Convention "What We Did On Our Holidays": UK first Pink label with orange/black circle logo.Thick vinyl with rough textured label's.Laminated front cover. Matrix side 1 ILPS + 9092 + A. Side 2 ILPS + 9092 + B
I have checked parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 with Shure M75 cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA mk III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in easily EX condition.Very clean overall with just one or two very small, minor marks. These are light and don't seem to affect the sound quality and they cannot be seen unless closely inspected...The disc lies flat and has no warping or kinks...And sound quality is really very nice indeed with clear and undistorted reproduction.Surfaces are pretty silent...Just a little light crackle in one or two quiet parts. A really excellent copy.
Cover is VG+ condition. Has some scuffing to it's edges and a seam split on bottom edge and a bit of shelfwear.Overall still not too bad and it's clean and not grubby.
Label's EX+ Have minimal spindle marks and are free of any other marks or blemishes.
Inner sleeve looks as though it may be original and is EX.
