Description
Presentable Mono copy of Family's extraordinary debut album from 1968. The original band photo inner is missing, so I have included a brand new reproduction/photocopy on good quality cartridge paper. Matrices are hand-etched RLP-6312-A.1.G/RLP-6312-B.1.G.
Single sleeve VG+ Front laminated with flipbacks. In good order throughout, Light handling wear and creasing, some bumps to the corners.
Labels Ex Quite a lot of spindlewear. Very clean.
Inner VG+ There are 2 inners to this LP, a Reprise picture bag and a plain polylined one. Not sure which is the correct one - they were inside the cover when I bought it many years ago.
Record Heavyweight Pye company vinyl (160g). Visually VG+, nice shine with a few light hairlines and the odd scratch. Plays well throughout with no sticks or jumps on my deck, but there are some light clicks on Side 2 Tracks 1 & 7. There are also some patches of distortion here and there - the record would probably sound better with a dedicated Mono cartridge. Overall play grade is VG/VG+
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' guide.
