Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection, so I can concentrate my collection in one specific area. So please look at my other listings. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a Very RARE album by Family titled Music in a doll’s house. This is a UK Original 1st Pressing on Reprise RLP 6312. This is the RARER MONO copy and is pressed on the very collectable Tri-colour STEAM boat reprise label. This is a first pressing and is their rarest record, you’ll be hard pressed to find another. What makes it even RARER is that it has actually been signed by ‘Roger Chapman’. The back of the sleeve has the inscription ‘To Susan best wishes Rog Chapman’. Susan has written her name on the rear also, but we can forgive for that as she did get Roger’s signature. The sleeve is printed by Garrod and Lofthouse. Also has the early matrix.
Matrix numbers: RLP 6312 A-3G / RLP 6312 B-3G
VINYL - Both sides of the record are in VG condition. There is some background noise/static throughout. NO skips, NO Jumps, NO sticking. Few light pops, few hairline scratches, one of which does produce a four light clicks . Plays all the way through and is still very enjoyable to listen too.
SLEEVE - The Front laminated flipback sleeve is in VG+ condition. Tiny amount of spine wear (text is all readable), some minor edge wear, NO Rips, NO Tears, NO Splits, some creasing. Has original owner’s name on rear and Roger’s Signature of course. Sleeve has retained its lovely glossy/shinny finish.
Inner is in EX condition. NO Writing/graffiti.
Label’s are in EX condition. Some spindle marks, NO Writing/graffiti.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
