Description
This 1973 Golden Records vinyl LP titled "Famous Monsters Speak" is a must-have for fans of classic horror & Halloween records! The album features the iconic characters of Frankenstein and Dracula, as well as other famous monsters. The Frankenstein story is on one side, and Dracula returns on the other. Such great voices and sound effects on these.
Oddly both sides of the record have a label that says Side 2, so this is a rare Golden Records mistake!
Both sides play well, with some minor popping in the beginning. I saw a light scratch on one side, it did not affect playback at all. Very clean LP in general, no warping. The outer sleeve is also in good shape. There are some small bends in the upper two corners and a gap in the bottom edge, with light edge wear on opening, see photos.
I am not a professional grader, but based on standard criteria the LP a record grading of Very Good Plus (VG+), while the sleeve grading is Very Good (VG).
This LP is a rare gem that is sure to capture the imagination of anyone who loves these classic monsters!
