Description
A very rare opportunity to acquire the very collectable first pressing of the classic 1969 "Farewell Aldebaran" LP by Judy Henske and Jerry Yester on the Straight label. Record number STS 1052; Matrix number STS 1052 A1. A combination of folk, rock and progressive with some weirdness thrown in this is a gothic classic.
Condition is VG/EX The record is from my personal collection and has been owned from new. The sleeve has significant edge wear and has two tears to the front cover top left where the price stickers were removed, but otherwise is in very good condition for its age.The inner sleeve is original and is in excellent condition apart from some slight browning to the edges. The disc has been well played but has no significant surface marks. The record plays very well on my deck with only a small amount of surface noise.
Having listened to it again I realise how good it is hence the high starting point as I don't really mind if it doesn't sell.
Record will be dispatched in specially purchased record mailer by standard post. I will retain proof of posting but cannot take responsibility for any failure to deliver by Royal Mail. Anything selling for more than £20 will be sent recorded delivery (to be signed for) at my extra cost. Anybody buying multiple items can have a discount on postage cost for second and later items. Shipping outside Uk is possible but I need to check on postage cost.
Grading follows the Record Collector standard. If after purchase you are unhappy with my description I will refund your purchase price if the LP is returned to me in the same state it is shipped out.
Please ask for additional information if you have any queries.
Payment by PayPal is easiest for me but I can accept cheques/postal order although shipping will be delayed until payment has cleared.
I intend to list most of my record collection and will therefore add 200+ items over the next few weeks
