Fats Navarro "The Fabulous Fats Navarro" original LP, Blue Note # 1531 Volume 1, mono Lexington pressing
This auction is for an original copy of the Blue Note jazz album "The Fabulous Fats Navarro Volume 1". Sesssions feature Charlie Rouse, Sonny Rollins, Bud Powell, Shadow Wilson among others. Record has the deep groove Blue Note label without the copywrite under the "E" and the Lexington address in script, RVG and "ear" etched in dead wax, no printing on spine. Album is an original and was obtained along with many other 50s and early 60s jazz records from original owner. Vinyl is VG+ with some light marks that do not sound out with lots of gloss and shine, some very minor label damage on side 2 (see photo below). Jacket is VG+ with some light storage wear on front and back and some heavier wear on bottom corners but no splits. A very nice copy of this hard to find jazz LP. Will ship well packed in cardboard record mailer.
