Faust - Same (UK Polydor 1972)
Faust stood out along with Can as the most revolutionary, imaginative and yet listenable krautrock bands in my opinion, and both bands somehow remain contemporary sounding with their music not really dating at all. When this came out in 1971 it sounded like nothing else, achieving a cult following but few sales and is now regarded as an experimental rock masterpiece. It was most famously issued in a transparent sleeve with transparent vinyl at the time, but due to poor sound quality it was also issued on black vinyl with significantly better sound in a white fully laminated sleeve and an insert.
Record/ Sleeve Grading
Sleeve is lovely, sharp edges with little to no wear anywhere, EX
Insert is pretty much perfect, M-
Record looks immaculate, no spindle marks and no scuffs or scratches at all on the vinyl. It plays as good as it looks, pretty much silent between tracks, and plays close to perfect. You would be hard pushed to find a better copy, M-
Gradings Used
M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
