Description

This is part of a big auction of King & Federal 45's I'm running this week. There are also a few rare blues & R&B extras.  Take a look at my other items and keep an eye out for a Herald/Ember auction starting 8/7 and an all 50's Atlantic Records auction on 8/21.

Release: Ike Turner and His Orchestra - The Big Question / Rock-A-Bucket

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957


Notes: Hard to find early single by Ike Turner. Big sound on this one with some great horn work. White label promo.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in nice shape with just a couple of very small marks. Plays great with no pops, ticks or skips.  Basically no background noise at all. Labels are generally, with no writing. Side B is quite nice with just some light scufing, but Side A has some color transfer and a few scratches in spots. Overall a pretty nice copy.

Sleeve Condition: The sleeves on almost all the records I'm selling are pretty much in the same condition: there are wrinkles and some light bends as well as a small pencil number in the top right corner, but no tears or major damage.  This particular one has a split about way down the left side.
