Description

This is part of a big auction of King & Federal 45's I'm running this week. There are also a few rare blues & R&B extras.  Take a look at my other items and keep an eye out for a Herald/Ember auction starting 8/7 and an all 50's Atlantic Records auction on 8/21.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957


Notes: Really interesting mashup of doo-wop and blues here. This is the first of just a few singles Martin ever put out. White label promo.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in very nice shape with just a couple of stray faint marks and some like scuffing in the runoff. Plays very well, with basically no background noise.  No pops, ticks, skips, etc. Sounds great. Label has some light scuffing and a small factory application tear. Pretty nice copy overall.

Sleeve Condition: The sleeves on almost all the records I'm selling are pretty much in the same condition: there are wrinkles and some light bends as well as a small pencil number in the top right corner, but no tears or major damage.
