Description

Fela Ransome Kuti & the Africa 70 - Afrodisiac LP Regal Zonophone

The time has come to bite the bullet and sell more of my vinyl collection - some classical, some jazz, some pop, rock, folk & psych. I know it won't be appreciated by my daughter or the next generation, so I'm shifting it myself and hope I find good homes for it. The hard work is deciding what to let go first, but it will probably be duplicates, stuff I have on CD and items unplayed for ages. You never know, there might just be something to suit your taste.

This listing is for Fela Ransome-Kuti's Afrodisiac album

Fela Ransome-Kuti & the Africa 70  -
Afrodisiac
UK pressing on Regal Zonophone label
Cat Number: SLRZ 1034
1972
Mode: Stereo

The Album:
 Great sound & rhythms.

Condition:
Cover:  Single sleeve, front-laminated in good order with minimal wear. Age discolouration to unlaminated rear which is somewhat grubby. Plain inner sleeve.
Labels: Regal Zonophone maroon labels, clean just a few spindle marks, no writing or stickers.
Vinyl: A few light scratches which do cause some background crackling during play, so it's not perfect but it's quite playable - probably coming in at the 'very good' mark. I have never attempted to clean this album, and as with all records of this age there's every chance that a professional grade clean might be beneficial and eliminate any light static/dust related interference.

Overall:
A decent copy of a hard-to-find album - I'd guess that this might be professionally graded at (cover / vinyl) VG/VG.

Terms:
Please note that I try to test-play at least part of each record before listing, but do not have time to play fully in all cases. I played a lot of this one, but if you do discover a problem which I might have missed, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do all I can to rectify the situation.
Postage: Approximate prices - UK £3.00 for 1 or 2 LPs, Europe £5.20 + £1.80 each additional, Rest of world £8.30 + £3.70 each additional item - these amounts include estimated actual Royal Mail cost for first class or air mail, plus 40p for cost of packaging material (a brand new custom mailer with stiffener). Happy to combine shipments subject to Royal mail limits.
