ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This handsome LP from Mercury (SR90314, US pressing, label iteration unknown, stereo) entitled “Screamers! A Collection of Exciting Marches from the Circus Ring” features conductor Frederick Fennell and the Eastman Wind Ensemble in rousing performances of marches well and little-known, but all brought off with tremendous joy and panache.

The recording director for this remarkable album was Wilma Cozart Fine, Harold Lawrence was the musical supervisor, C.R. Fine the technical supervisor, and Robert Eberenz the chief engineer. These recordings were made at the Eastman Theater, Rochester, on 5 May 1962.
There are authoritative liner notes on the reverse side of the jacket by Frederick Fennell himself, provided in English only. The charming cover art is uncredited.
CONDITION – PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is VERY GOOD. Although this is a genuinely still-sealed copy, this was a “cut-out” copy and there is a drill hole to the lower-right corner of the jacket. There is also minor bumping at corners, but that is all. Overall, still a very good collector’s copy.
The condition of the LP is MINT. This is a still-sealed, unplayed copy – the ideal collector's copy.
