Fillmore East – The Final Concert (w/ The Allman Brothers Band)

RARE Single LP by Electric Records

I purchased this new at a record shop in NYC in the mid 1970’s.

It is a RARE Single LP pressing of partial selections from the closing night concert on June 27th 1971.

There is no date or any other information beyond the label name ELECTRIC RECORDS, which bears no resemblance to things of the same name found on the web today.

It was only played a couple of times shortly after purchase. My interest in this stemmed from the Allman Brothers Band beginning with the well-known Live at Fillmore East double LP; - here they appear on the last two tracks, with Statesboro Blues and Don’t Keep Me Wonderin’. All photos are of the actual item.

The outer sleeve is yellowed from age and has minor scuffs & rubbing typical of initial shelf storage and then boxed storage in a dry climate for the past 20+ years since leaving New York, during which time I have not played LP’s at all. Believe me when I say that the condition of the LP itself is Excellent. The LP may have minor dust and paper debris from the inner paper sleeve, but with “DiscWasher” type cleaning as I always did before each usage, it will come up looking like new. And they have always (always) been stored vertically and show no signs of warping, scratches, mildew, foxing, or other damage.

This will ship inexpensively by Media Mail in a 14x14x2 cardboard box made for LP records.
