Friends, this is the mofo...
The records inside this limited edition rarity are a little scuffy. There's a good amount of pops between tracks. Interestingly, the sides are layed out 1 and 4, 2 and 5, 3 and 6, so they could be listened to a LP stacker, the ones with the long spindle from the 60s that everybody had on their "quadraphonic stereos" (freedom rock!) They look great. There is no skips, stutters, jumps or anything to interfere with listening, OTHER than the age of the records and the popping, because these probably WERE played on an old lp stacker system.
The great thing about this as opposed to other similar items: The box has no tape, has no tears, and is connected at all corners. It IS a little mottled, and there is some "foxing" on the off-white colored box. The top has a "dent" but no color breaks. (see pics) Try to find a box in THIS condition on eBay!
The beauty of the deal is the bonus features. They are all present and all pristine:
1. The interview 33.3 7" single interview with Bill Graham. (I don't believe it was every played. Sweet and with original sleeve.
2. The poster, is folded, perfectly, no tears, no blunted corners. Beautiful. See picture. My guess is anyone whose read this far is an enthusiast and doesn't need to be bothered with dimensions, etc. But I can provide those if you like. MINT
3. The 30 page booklet. Corners only slightly blunted. Still bright white (unlike the box) all staples intact. EX shape.
4. The ELUSIVE Ticket ! Some sellers claim on eBay they don't exist, but THEY DO. And this set has one. Only a small upturned bend on the lower left side mars this from being in Mint Shape. No color break NM-.
Considering the 100% attendance of the goodies inside the box, and the condition of the box, though faded and stained....an EX condition media set. As I said, the records look great, but VG is the verdict after two listens.
