Description

You are bidding on a factory sealed copy of Fillmore West 1969 by the Grateful Dead. This is the first night of the legendary run of shows that yielded the “Live/Dead” album. Now you can hear the whole story!

Notably, this show contains the Dark Star > St. Stephen that ended up on Live/Dead. Now you can hear it in its true, original form. You can also hear Mountains of the Moon, which famously segues into this song suite, and loads of other gems!

If you’re a Deadhead then I don’t need to tell you how epic and important this show is. The jams are second to none. Jerry’s playing is jaw-dropping and the entire band is on fire. The show crackles with energy. One of the best out there. As a 1969-“Head” I can say with confidence this is actually their best show of the year.

This was mixed and mastered from the analog tapes by Jeff Norman so you know it sounds stellar!
