Working copy of the rare/limited edition vinyl LP pressing of When the Pawn..., the essential 1999 sophomore studio album by Fiona Apple produced by John Brion, issued by Vinyl Me Please for the first/only time ever in 2016. PLEASE NOTE: I've had two copies of this album so far, and both of them arrived with QC issues--small but noticeable surface scratches+one hairline in the track grooves, which in this instance interfere with the sound quality in playback: while both sides play through without skips, tracks affected (including "To Your Love," "Paper Bag," and "Fast As You Can") all have some distortion/pops when the needle goes over those spots (vinyl is graded G+ accordingly, though unaffected tracks are closer to NM). Artwork is Excellent (closer to NM)--no seam splits--with just the slightest of corner dings at one point of the open edge. Extra care always taken when preparing for shipment, to ensure protected corners and prevent seam splits. Pricing has been adjusted to allow for these factors, while taking into account scarcity of release. Still her best, IMO.
