Nice private press folk LP.
Sleeve is Excellent.
Vinyl is excellent and looks barely played.
The following review is taken from the Waxidermy site, where there are also sound clips:
"This is a UK private press LP recorded at Rook Studios in the town of Stourport On Severn. It was released in 1979 and is all cover songs of varying genres. I guess this band was a local outfit which played pubs/clubs, maybe weddings and the like. The musicianship is fairly good throughout, comfortably handling country rock, rock & roll, rock and ballads. The lineup of the band was: Gary Cooper (lead guitar/vocals), Peter Smith (rhythm guitar/vocals), Peter Elton (bass), Roger Quiney (drums/vocals) and Jilly Smith (vocals). The band is pictured standing in a rural clearing on the back cover, but it doesn’t really ever get to a rural vibe musically. Overall, it’s not a bad LP, but the last two songs on side two are a really good “Long Train Running” followed by a facemelting version of “Exodus”, I’m not sure who’s arrangement it is, but it’s brutal nonetheless."
