THE BEATLES

Magical Mystery Tour

This one is all about the clean vinyl......

An early first pressing from the Scranton plant, the cover is moderately worn, and the book has become detached.  The inside cover has the disclaimer under the title I Am The Walrus, "No You're Not!" in block-letter font, rather than the handwritten font of the later pressings.  Of course as collectors know, this block font was only found on the first-run Scranton covers.  The top seam of the pocket is split about one quarter of the way, and the bottom seam pocket is split just under two inches.  The spine is intact, but shows its age.  All three seams have flecks of glossy slick missing.  The front and back covers both show moderate dirtwear and light to moderate wearing off of the gloss.  The inner sleeve is the solid white sleeve with no window.

The vinyl looks practically brand new.  Playback is EX+ to NM revealing only a minimal amount of intermittent static ticks.  The fidelity is excellent.    Find a beautiful first pressing Scranton cover and you'll have an amazing archival copy.
