Up for auction is a wonderful 5 record set of renowned Norwegian soprano Kirsten Flagstaf, "Flagstad in Song", Victor Records M-342 (1813-1817), part of the Victor Musical Masterpiece series. Kirsten Flagstad’s debut as Sieglinde in Die Walküre, during the Metropolitan season of 1934-35, made operatic history and immediately established her as one of the greatest Wagnerian singers.

The records are in mint condition, and the informational program on the inside front cover is autographed by Kirsten Flagstad. Two records are in German, 2 records are in Norwegian, and 1 record is in English. I believe this record set was recorded in 1936. I do know that the last song in the set, When I Have Sung My Songs, was definitely recorded in 1936 as part of this record set, so I'm assuming the other selections were recorded in the same time frame http://www.newworldrecords.org/linernotes/80247.pdf . Unless specified otherwise, my items are pre-owned with varying signs of use. I am not an expert on the items being sold but do my best to accurately describe each item to the best of my ability, and describe and document any flaws I find. Please review measurements carefully. Clothing measurements are taken with the garment lying naturally on a flat surface without stretching or pulling the fabric, unless otherwise noted. Please bid only if you are serious about buying and paying for this item–remember you are entering into a contract. Please ask all questions before placing your bid. I will answer any questions as quickly and honestly as I can. If you are a new Ebayer with a feedback score of "0", you must contact me for approval before placing a bid, otherwise I reserve the right to cancel your bid.

Returns

All items are inspected and described as thoroughly and accurately as possible, and all items are sold as described with no refunds, unless the item has been grossly misrepresented or I fail to mention something which affects the value or desirability of the item. As previously mentioned, I measure garments as accurately as possible, and I do my best to describe colors accurately, but colors can appear differently depending on computer setting and for these reasons I will not refund due to color or sizing. If you have any questions on how to determine your size, please ask before bidding! If a return is warranted, the item must be postmarked within 3 days of receipt of package, in it's original condition, or refund is void.

I try to ship within 24 hours of payment. Unless otherwise offered, I ship via USPS Priority Mail in continental U.S., and USPS Priority Mail International for locations outside of the U.S., but will use another carrier if an item is very large or heavy, or heavy and fragile. Insurance is mandatory for fragile items, for your benefit. I will be happy to combine shipping if items are closing within 5 days of each other. Discounts will be given on final packed weight. However, larger fragile items need to be shipped separately. If a package gets hung up in the postal system, I will do my best to assist you in tracking. But please realize that delays in the postal system are beyond my control.

Payment is required within 5 days of end of auction. I gladly accept PayPal, which is strongly preferred, and e-Checks, but will accept money orders if mailed in a timely fashion. I DO NOT accept personal checks. PayPal payments only will be accepted from International bidders. If you have a special circumstance regarding payment, please email me prior to bidding. I report all non-paying bidders to Ebay.
