Description

This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: Red label first pressing. Early single on Flair. Gunter got a contract when her brother, a member of The Flairs, brought her to the attention of the label. Great R&B leaning vocal/doo-wop here with your classic R&B instrumentation, Gunter sings lead and really shines here.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear, just a few tiny scattered marks in runoff. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears/scuffing/stickers. This is a really nice copy overall.


Sleeve Condition: VG, has original company sleeve. Has some wrinkling and a rough top edge. No tears/splits/writing. 


All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
