From the collection of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this great piece of 1970s Australian rock history. Flake. How’s Your Mother. Signed Australian pressing. Promo. 1971. Violets Holiday. SVHL 934365. Signed and inscribed on front by vocalist, keyboardist and drummer Wayne Thomas. Although Flake formed in 1968, How’s Your Mother was their debut album, released in December 1970. It’s an interesting mix of pop and psych rock; somehow, it all works. It’s the only album they recorded before disbanding in 1974. The record is in Near Mint condition with only the lightest crackles evident. Cover Very Good + to Near Mint. “Sample Record – Not For Sale” sticker on Side One. Cover is in Near Mint condition, barely visible ring wear and some dustiness from storage but heavy card stock has kept it in good condition. Inscribed on front from Wayne Thomas.
