Fleetwood Mac (1975) — Sealed Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recording (MFSL 1‑012)

This is a sealed, unopened Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recording of Fleetwood Mac’s pivotal 1975 self‑titled album, the record that introduced Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham and launched the band into its most iconic era. This album includes timeless tracks such as “Rhiannon,” “Landslide,” “Over My Head,” and “Say You Love Me,” all of which helped propel the album to multi‑platinum success and reshape the band’s sound.

This MFSL edition (catalog MFSL 1‑012) is a half‑speed mastered audiophile pressing, cut by Stan Ricker and pressed in Japan by JVC — widely regarded for producing some of the quietest, highest‑quality vinyl ever made. Mobile Fidelity used the original analog master tapes, giving this release superior clarity, warmth, and dynamic range compared to standard pressings.

The MFSL version of this album was released in 1979, making this sealed copy over 45 years old. Early Mobile Fidelity titles from the late 1970s were limited‑run, premium audiophile releases, and while MFSL did not publicly disclose exact pressing quantities, collectors generally agree that these early titles were produced in much smaller numbers than modern reissues. Sealed examples from this era are especially scarce.

Because this copy remains factory sealed, it is considered archival‑grade — the highest possible condition for collectors. The jacket is clean, the shrink-wrap is intact, and the iconic “Original Master Recording” banner is crisp and bright.
