Description



An original 1st issue of Rumours on the UK Warners label from 1977. Etching 'Allen' & "EG"..Not the 1st press, but would have been produced during the period whilst the album charted. The vinyl comes houses in an original non-textured cover. Also included is the generic white patent no's inner sleeve with the lyric poster inner. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) A beautiful slab of vinyl which has seen only the lightest of use. Under close inspection I can barely make out a single mark - it really is in top class condition. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. If you are looking for a top-level copy it makes a lot of sense to start with a NEAR-MASTER copy. Even a copy from 2 years later could be the 5 millionth copy given the volume of sales on this title! Very difficult to find fault here - just lovely pure audio tumbling out of the speakers. Don't short change yourself with an untested or marginally inferior copy. This original really has the stamp of quality written all over it. Interference is practically non-existent. All I could honestly detect were a couple of light static crackles in a couple of spots. Even 'Songbird' plays with stunning silence in the background. A tremendously clean rendition from start to finish. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Lovely shiny unaged front and back with minimal handling and only a couple of tiny creases on the rear. Edge wear is super-light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Nice!
Inner (Ex-) Lightest of ageing. A one inch side split.
Lyric sheet/poster (Ex+) No issues or writing or ageing.
