Firstly, the record:
Visually pretty good. The label on side A has a name tag & a light mark & both labels show some spindle wear. Both playing surfaces show plenty of light marks but no particularly deep impact damage. Please check the pictures because they form part of the description
I have play tested this record (no *visual testing only* nonsense) & it is generally very enjoyable but not perfect.
To elaborate it is very crackly in the quieter sections so I would strongly advise a professional clean - unfortunately I don't have access to my cleaner at the moment. I found track B1 sticks right at the start (which isn't terribly bothersome because you can drop the needle ten seconds in) & a brief skip on track B2. There is also a tick in between track B2 & B3 but that doesn't have a significant impact on sound quality.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Biro marked name on the front which I personally think adds some character. The back is clean & unmarked if slightly discoloured by age. The spine is undamaged & nicely legible.
At the time of writing there is only one other on offer on Ebay & the seller wants £650 for it. I have included the vital discogs statistics for your reference.
This is not a museum piece but it's better than serviceable & it is as rare as hen's teeth. From when I feel the Stones were at the peak of their powers. I'm tempted to keep it myself but I need some funds!
I post promptly and securely and I sometimes use recycled packaging.
Polite disclaimer:
If you don't have the means to pay for a bid within 48 hours of sale then please let me know before bidding.
Also if you intend making an offer but you have further questions about the items for sale, then you should ask them *prior to making that offer. By making an offer you are committed to the sale should the retailer accept it as per eBay terms and conditions. Sorry to have to mention this but I've suffered some frankly rotten buying etiquette recently.
Domestic or GSP buyers only please.
Check out my feedback, bid with confidence, & thanks for looking!
