Description

Claude Civelli – La Flute a Bec De Claude Civelli (Festival FLDX 558) France 197x

Condition (Sleeve/Record): Ex+ (small drill hole) / perfect NM -

French Library recording from the early 70s by flute player Claude Civelli, co-composed by orchestral director and Telemusic artist Herve Roy and originally released on the rare Festival label. noteable for the crazy Psych Funk instrumental ‚Lei Lelele Palace': sharp funky flute on the right channel, hard wah wah distorted fuzz guitar on the left, all backed by deep piano riffs, percussion and clear, loud drums! an excellent track that could have been taken from the legendary KPM Afro Rock Library. more excellent funky breakbeats on 'Le Grand Calao'! trust me, a flute can’t get funkier than this, needs to be played loud!

soundsamples on request, any other questions feel free to ask. thx for looking, good luck and take a look at my other auctions!
