Description
I was never a huge fan of Foghat when I acquired these albums as a teenager. However, I always thought the Bearsville Pressings were superior in fidelity to most of those in my collection. When purchased, most of these records only got 2-3 plays on the deck. I'm testing them all right now and they still sound as fantastic as I remember.
Foghat to me is like a chain restaurant...consistently mediocre. Meaning, these albums won't blow your mind, but you can come back to them time and time again and play the entire record without getting pissed off about a real shitty song, ruining the mood.
Thank You For Your Interest.
MOST LPS are "EX" or better - Cutouts
LIVE LP is (GD+) G2 POWERWASHED = Playgraded to VG to VG +
When differences occur I will do my best to resolve any differences in opinion.
M (Mint): Never been played or item still sealed. Cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster (ie contents) are in perfect condition.
Nm (Near Mint): In brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover and contents nearly perfect.
Ex (Excellent): Shows some signs of being played, light marks, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG+ (Very Good Plus): Better than Very Good: Obviously been played but no significant deterioration in sound quality despite some surface marks and light scratches. Some wear and tear on cover and contents, as in corner/edge/ring wear, without any major defects though.
VG (Very Good): Obviously been played many times but no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches. Normal wear and tear on cover or contents, without any major defects.
Gd+ (Good Plus): Better than Good: Sound quality has deteriorated but with no distortion. Some scratches and occasional more noticeable scratches that can be felt. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges but not spine splits or discolouration.
Gd (Good): Sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
F (Fair): Still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
P (Poor): Will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. Cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Records are thoughtfully shipped in LP shipping boxes with cardboard inserts. *LP will be removed from cover and placed in a polyethylene outer sleeve before shipping for best protection.
* For convenience and shipping savings on this lot, these will be shipped in the sleeve. For $1.00 extra per album, I will remove the record from its cover and place it in a polyethylene outer sleeve for shipping.
