Library of Congress Folk Music Child Ballads Vol I & II with Leaflets
A fascinating historical folk music collection documenting traditional Child Ballads as preserved in American folk culture. Produced by the Library of Congress, these recordings are an important piece of American musical and folkloric history and are highly desirable to collectors of folk history, Americana, ethnomusicology, archival recordings, and rare Library of Congress pressings. Edited by renowned scholar Bertrand H Bronson, these volumes were produced under a special grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. These Library of Congress releases are becoming increasingly difficult to find complete, especially with original inserts intact.
