Description

A very rare double LP of Texas' best Dylan imitator, John Barrett.   John signed with Huey Meaux first and released a 45 on Ventural Records in 1966, a great Dylan imitation.   Then he signed with International Artists in 1967 thru 1970.   During this time he recorded the tracks on this double LP set.  8 songs on one LP and 9 on the other,  covers of Dylan songs and Donovan too.  Plus his own compositions including the Ventural 45 from '66.  His cover versions are great and the originals as well.  These LPs were never released on International Artists or on any other label.  The LPs come with a photo of John shown here.  And his Dylan dedication is obvious from the hat to the harmonica rack.  A great LP and artist.  Both LPs are near mint except for track 1 on LP #1, it has to be played at extra tone arm weight due to a bubble in the wax.
