I took in a small collection of psych records recently. Most are in very playable condition! Not Near Mint, however.  Visually graded only.  I’m currently without a turntable.  Check my other auctions, okay?

Folk-Psych 1969 PROMO LP Tim Buckley Blue Afternoon Beautiful VG+!

Vinyl--- VG+.  That’s a strong grade.  Too many sellers grade an album VG+ when what they mean is VG.  This LP has mostly original shine, with a patch or two of extremely light lines.  There is one which is pronounced just enough to be called a scuff.  Nice-looking vinyl.

Plates--- 1A/ 1B1.  Definitely from the first plates.

Cover--- G. Radio stations aren’t loved for taking care of album covers.  This one has moderate to heavy ringwear on the front and back covers.  Gatefold has light ringwear.  Masking tape at top left, masking tape removal at bottom spine.  Radio station call letters and file number written in black marker as if it were signed by John Hancock.  Top pocket is split all the way.

PROMO Sticker--- VG.  Still affixed to the bottom right of the cover.  Light dirtwear.

Labels--- EX/ EX.  Light spindle marks, both sides, and that’s all!

Inner Sleeve--- Original Warner Bros. inner sleeve is present and in VG condition.  Nice, flat sleeve, yellowed over the last 5 decades.  One side seam and bottom seam have splits a few inches long.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to further damage your original Warner Bros. inner sleeve en route.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
