I bought several of these at the launch event for the album in NYC 1986. One copy was for playing and was played a lot, and I believe this one has never been played, as that was the intention. But it was 28 years ago so I can't be absolutely sure. Vinyl looks great, very clean. Cover looks great. Back side shows some transfer of the gold ink from another copy that was under this one when purchased. Full LP-sized booklet in great condition as well. Also including Frank Rich's "Stage View" column from the New York Times praising this unforgettable concert event.
Album is in near mint condition; possibly never played, certainly not played often. Cover is in excellent condition, has been kept in a plastic album sleeve throughout its life. Rear cover shows transfer of gold ink from another copy that was purchased at the same time.
Nice collector's album from one of the great theater concerts of all time.
