An extraordinary original pressing on Clix Records (Troy, Michigan) featuring Ain’t No Sign I Wouldn’t If I Could / Nine Times Out of Ten by Ford Nix & The Moonshiners — a true grail for Midwest rockabilly and country collectors, with virtually no comparable finds online.


This disc comes directly from the personal archive of a Detroit disc jockey and bears authentic signs of professional use: label aging, surface wear from heavy rotation, and tonal character consistent with DJ booth history. These are not flaws; they are provenance—the imprints of history, played when this sound was new and raw.


For serious collectors, this 45 bridges artifact and narrative—as one of the very few known surviving DJ-played Clix singles, it hails from Michigan’s golden era of independent pressings and radio promotion.


Condition:

Vinyl exhibits surface scratches and scuffing consistent with frequent use, but plays through smoothly. Labels are worn with aged patina and visible spindle use. No warps or cracks.
