Description
This is a analog eight track recorder that is in good shape. There is a slight dent in the upper right hand corner ( see photograph) that does not affect the use of the unit. As I understand the difference between this unit and the smaller R-8 is the use of a larger motor and metal parts in the recorder for semi professional use. It is very heavy - unboxed it is 75 lbs.. It needs to be professionally boxed and with shipping is estimate it will cost about $90.00 to ship. I picked it up online about a year ago, but I never found my way back to recording. I will also provide a tape demagnetizer and head cleaner and one unused tape. I have placed a reserve because I honestly don't want to go thru shipping this for a price that isn't fair to both of us. I did record enough with it to know that all inputs and playback heads are functioning. If the winning bidder is in Southern California you are welcome to pick it up to avoid shipping cost
