Here I have for sale four LP's of the Fab Four all original 1960's. I sent my husband into the loft and I didn't see him for two days, he emerged with memorabilia of the Beatles under his arm. I have two other Beatles lots on E-Bay also, having gone through the armful he had. The worrying thing for me is that the loft still remains absolutely bursting with items that have not been seen in 16 years.
So, the LP's.
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band: The record is in very good condition, I can see no scratches. The sleeve is age-pitted but not torn. The cover is in again in very good condition with a few tiny nibbles on the open side and small cracks on the back spine side.
Yesterday & Today: The record is well worn with some large scratches on both sides. The sleeve is not torn but is creased. The cover is in the worst condition of all of the LP's (pic. 10) with old sellotape holding the bottom part together (just).
Help!: The record is in very good condition, I can see one mark but it is very light. The sleeve is age-pitted but not torn. The cover is creased, scratched and cracked on the spine and front and back. It is also brown with age. I would suggest the cover is in fair condition.
Magical Mystery Tour: The record is in very good condition. I can see some light marks but I wouldn't say they were scratches. The sleeve is creased and has been folded in two. Not torn and not too aged-pitted. The cover is a little nibbled around the edge corners. More important is the "pages inside with other photos. The top staple has come away from the cover and is loose, the bottom staple is working hard to stay connected to the cover but it is tentative to say the least.
I hope this is more than enough information for each LP. I have photographed both sides of each record and the covers together. It may be a short delay putting on the remaining two lots but keep watching. The starting price is low ( a travesty my husband thinks) but it is in line with our need to clear things out in 2016,
