Description
Four By The Beatles EP. RARE GREEN WEST COAST 45 w NM Cardboard Picture Sleeve!
You’re bidding on an absolute NEAR MINT COPY of the hard-to-find Four By The Beatles EP cardboard sleeve, with an even HARDER-TO-FIND GREEN LABEL WEST COAST 45, EAP1-2121!
Released by Capitol on May 11, 1964, Four By The Beatles was the first of two Extended Play 45s. This one contained “All My Loving,” “Roll Over Beethoven,” “This Boy” and “Please Mr. Postman.”
This hardcover cardboard jacket has survived almost 60 years like you just brought it home from the record store! It’s PERFECT—NO SPLITS, NO STAPLES NO LABELS, NO RESIDUE, NO OWNER MARKS OF ANY KIND.
The 45 will deliver awesome audio, just like the boys intended. The labels have initials, but the dark blue on dark green makes them very inconspicuous.
Yes, this is the rarer WEST COAST GREEN LABEL 45. The difference is that this pressing has centered song titles and writer credits. The word “RECORDS” is below the Capitol logo; it is not on the more-common blue East Coast label at all. Also, the machine-stamped * in the deadwax indicates its West Coast origination (SEE PHOTOS).
I believe this is the finest Four By The Beatles that you’ll find on eBay right now. And the West Coast 45 makes it a terrific score!
Thanks for looking, and Good Luck!
PLEASE NOTE: All net proceeds from this sale will be placed in a Special Needs Trust Fund for my son, who suffers from a Traumatic Brain Injury as a result of being hit by a motor vehicle. Your bid is appreciated. However, it is not a charity and there are no tax benefits.
Beatles records are fragile and more than a half-century old. Each has been play-tested once on a newer Sony turntable used only for that purpose. They are being described here in complete, honest and accurate detail, and are sold “as is.” I cannot be responsible for different results due to the buyer’s own equipment. Your satisfaction, along with my 100% Feedback, are very important.
This item will be packed securely, with records in paper sleeves. Once payment is transferred from eBay to my bank account, it will be shipped to USA only! Payment must be submitted within 3 days of closing, or buyer forfeits all rights to purchase.
