Very Cool Steve Miller Gold Record for Rockin' Me!
The year was 1976! The "last convertible", the Cadillac Eldorado, rolled off the assembly line. Disco was king on Top 40 radio, but Steve Miller' was Rockin' Me Baby! This Gold Record commissioned by Bruce Wendell, Vice President of Capitol Records, is in it's original frame and the same disc jockey has owned it for the past 31 years. Rockin' Me wasn't just a number one million selling hit, it was and still is a Rock and Roll Anthem.
Winning bidder pays shipping costs. USPS charges for Priority mail in most of US is $9.45, which includes $100 insurance. Bubble wrap for secure packaging adds $3.10. $12.55 in all for Post Office. UPS is considerably more for two days air and insurance, $39.00. Both amounts may be a little more or less according to location and zip code.
