FRANK CLOUTIER & VICTORIA CAFÉ ORCHESTRA: Moonshiner’s Dance Part 1/Part 2 (Electrobeam Gennett 6305). Iconic recording included on Harry Smith’s pioneering reissue album “The Anthology of American Folk Music”. Recorded in St. Paul, MN in September, 1927. V+ condition; grainy and appears to have had something spilled on side 2, giving a weird look to the surface, but plays through it.
I’m helping a friend auction off his collection of fine old time, blues and ethnic 78s. There are some wonderful records, so check my other listings and keep checking back. Due to my schedule these listings will be spread over several weeks time.
