Description

Frank Foster Basie Is Our Boss Argo 717 mono deep groove true original pressing-error pressing. If you look closely at the labels in the photos above Count Basie's last name is misspelled " Bassie" on both sides of the record which was the way the original issue was released, it was subsequently corrected and reissued with the proper spelling but I am sure collectors like the true original pressing and here is one for your bidding pleasure. See the tune names and personnel in the photos above with full details, but this one is a collectors item that just happens to have very groovy music recorded in 1963. All of Basie's guys are here, just not him.
