Description

This is a new, unopened "The Fan Albums - Music of the NFL Films 1969-1979" boxed set on twelve inch vinyl. This was a limited edition pressing and hand autographed copies are very rare. This one is autographed by the legendary Frank Gifford. The autograph is in a silver metallic ink.

The description on the back of the box reads: The difinitive collection of NFL Films classic music. For the first time ever, Sam Spence's greatest compositions are together in a five disc set. These are the legendary Fan Albums released individually during the 1970's. Now they are together with the original artwork and all of the original cuts, sixty-six songs in all. From the Headcracker Suite to Mighty Men and Magic Moments, this is the soundtrack to NFL history. As stirring today as the first time you heard them.

For decades, NFL Films has created the magnificent sounds associated with the game of football. As a fan, it is impossible to hear the classic orchestrations without being transplanted onto the gridiron. While there was a release of five vinyl albums in the ’70s to fan club members, there has never been true commercial availability of this music to the enormous general NFL fan constituency. The fan club records have been re-released exactly as they were back in the 1970s with original artwork in place. NFL purists will appreciate the limited run in vinyl housed in a special box that contains all five albums.

Thanks for looking, see my feedback and bid with confidence. No Reserve.
