Up for auction is a hard-to-find copy of "Smoky Places" and "Judy" on the Excello label by Frank Howard. I try to grade my records as conservatively as possible, and in this case, I have provided links to audio-video recordings of each track, in full. They have not been edited or cleaned up in any way--what you hear is what you'll get!
I have graded each side of the 45 separately:
"Smoky Places": Very strong VG. Still very glossy. Marks are light in nature. You can hear that there is some surface noise, but it does not interfere with the music. No particularly loud pops. No skips.
"Judy": VG-. This side has quite a few more marks and scuffs than the other side. Again, the marks are light in nature, but it does create surface noise that is apparent, particularly at the beginning of the track.
