Description

Rare private press blowout!   This week I have for sale a batch of interesting and rare mostly private press psych, folk and prog LPs.

 

Here’s a real rarity, Frank Ianni’s only album, “No Moon Night,” on Night Wax Records, 1977.  The label is from Cleveland, where I live, but I’ve never seen this album before, so there couldn’t have been too many copies.  Nice mix of folk-rock nad post-Beatles pop.  Good songwriting, tight performances.  Here’s a blurb from an old (1998) Euro catalogue that sold it for $75: “Local thick cover private rock in vein of late Beatles stuff.  Overlooked!”  Snap it up now; it’ll be a while before another copy of this rarity shows up, and you’re unlikely to find a better copy.

 

Cover is EX with the tiniest bit of wear, as you can see in the scan, and a punch hole.  LP is M-.
