Description

uncle b jay bazaar (for the rare and one of a kind):
Frank Kojo- Hidden treasures TAMALE SOUNDS 1001 (GER)
visual grade: Vg+ (just some light paper scuffs) play grade: Vg-/Vg+ (check the long audio clips of the actual record on auction) labels: clean cover: Vg (check large pictures accurately), tear on the spine, NO wiritings or tape
conservative grading
comments: PRIVATE press LP in probably very small quantities/small label (i think their only release so far), rec. April/May 1981; a really unique and fascinating album with influences from all over the World (from Turkey and Africa to South America and Jamaica), really some hidden treasures/pieces here (the bongo congo rhtyhm), side A is a kind of trance cosmic space reggae deal, while side B has totally different vibe with more tribal/organic/deep/voodoo pieces (check back cover liner notes for more info on each tracks). 1st time on eBay (check popsike): elusive one and still to be discovered (will work pretty well on a loud system) ! check arabian nights, rastaman iration, pig ask the mother, fire steps, ecstasy (free flowing tribal/afro jazz which remind to me that incredible duo LP by Dave Nuss and Atiba)
