Description

Nice 16-LP Frank Sinatra box set by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab MFSL, the Capitol years albums.

These LPs were made in Japan and pressed on JVC Super Vinyl. They were mastered at half-speed for the best possible sound. This Sinatra collection had a run of 10,000 copies, each in a box with a magnetic catch. This set is number 9276.

The albums are:

Swing Easy/Songs For Young Lovers
In The Wee Small Hours
Songs For Swingin’ Lovers
Close To You
A Swingin’ Affair
Where Are You?
Come Fly With Me
Sings For Only The Lonely
Come Dance With Me
Look To Your Heart
No One Cares
Nice N’ Easy
Sinatra’s Swingin’ Session
All The Way
Come Swing With Me
Sinatra Sings….Of Love And Things

Each record comes in an archival envelope inside a cardboard cover sleeve that has the artwork of the original album plus album notes. The record/sleeve/cover are protected by a second stiffener sleeve. The sleeve grading in the product information listing is for the inside interior sleeve. The combination has protected the vinyl from warping for more than 30 years in the studio closet of a Sintaraphile who had almost every Sinatra LP and CD produced.

The records are in excellent condition. They were played, but show virtually no wear.  I pulled No. 5 at random for the closeup taken under the worst light conditions possible to show the condition. These were loved.

Originally the set came with a Geodisc, a cartridge alignment disc, that was mislaid years ago.

The outer box is intact, with tears on each corner seam of the flaps.
