   For sale is Frank Sinatra's Sinatra '65, originally released in 1965 by Reprise Records. This record has original pink, gold and green labels with a large steamboat at the upper left corner and the word "reprise:" on the label at upper right. These were only used between 1961- 1967. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers 1-C/1-C, indicating that a very early stamper was used to make this first edition, a hallmark of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put this album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. Doing this protects the integrity of vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is graded as Excellent because of oxidation and some slight wrinkles. The cover is graded as Excellent  because of edge rubs and corner blunts. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of very faint sleeve marks and some surface scratches. The vinyl is play graded as Excellent because of an occasional pop and some very low level surface noise, most noticeable during the quiet passages of playback. This is the best copy of this hard to find record that I've ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find a copy in this condition.
