In original box with booklet insert. Booklet is in VVGC, Records are all in VVGC, box is intact and in very good condition.

Complete with 36 page booklet.

All LP's have been stored in poly liners, so original picture sleeves are in excellent condition.

This collection is very near mint, having been played once by me from new on a good quality turntable.

Capitol Records is proud to announce the release of Frank Sinatra: The Capitol Years on October 10. The comprehensive 75-track package spans the incredible legacy of Frank Sinatra’s hits, from his classic 1953-62 era of Capitol recordings. Tracks for The Capitol Years were chosen with the support and assistance of Nancy Sinatra, and fans will rejoice that The Capitol Years spotlights two previously unreleased tracks recently discovered in the Capitol vaults. They are “Here Goes” recorded in 1958 with Billy May and his orchestra; and a beautiful version of “One For My Baby” with Frank’s voice set against a piano accompaniment.

The limited edition collector’s set is an artfully-designed linen-bound box containing five LPs.
The package features a 36-page booklet that includes three sets of liner notes:
Nancy Sinatra gives a touching look at Sinatra, the father, the musician, the friend; Will Friedwald (author of jazz Singing) gives a scholarly account of Sinatra’s gift to contemporary music; and Pete Kline (former A&R executive for the Capitol Record Club and currently with Creative Radio Network) leads us through the nine explosive years known as Sinatra’s Capitol Years. illustrating the commentary are rare and never-before-published photos from behind the scenes.

Geared for the general music fan and collector alike, track-by-track commentary places each song in historical perspective, and detailed information includes recording dates and master numbers. In keeping with Capitol’s meticulous practices for reissues, all songs were digitally remastered from the original source material."
