Description

Frank Strozier, "Fantastic" (Vee Jay Records) Rare and classic Frank Strozier LP release, with a phenomenal supporting cast, including short-lived trumpet genius Booker Little, and Miles's unbeatable rhythm section of Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb. Truly great album! The cover is VG+. Side 1 is graded VG+ thanks to a manufacturing flaw that actually does not affect the sound -- it's merely cosmetic. I richly enjoyed the whole first side before posting (man, what a monster Booker was -- what a loss!), but I'm a tough grader. Side 2 is Mint-minus and sight graded. Strict grading.
