Description

For auction is the hard to find 30 year old LP box Zappa released, called 'beat the boots'.
I toyed with selling this or not, the music is that great, (with most of the bootlegs being of brilliant quality, especially given some boots were recorded in the late 60's). This set in particular is for those who like early Zappa, as I do.
Due to lack of space, alas, I need to sell this on as it takes up a lot of room. Hopefully some Zappa fan wants this.
Note, this set, the COMPLETE set, which is what this is, goes for lots of money on both Ebay and Discogs. I have tried to be reasonable and, at the time of writing, I am selling this at the LOWEST PRICE. LASTLY - Postage will be RM next day deliver, so will be just over £14.00. An invoice will be sent to whoever wins, for the total sale amount. GESTURE - As a goodwill gesture, if this sells for a high enough price, I will halve the cost of postage for the buyer, so postage may be as low as £7.00, for a box of this size.
CONDITION - All the LP's play without skips however, some have surface noise, although nothing intrusive or distracting, by any means. Some of the older recordings have natural hiss, anyway. But rest assured, these aren't some tinny, rough bootlegs. They are well recorded, for the most part. Box has some very mild stains, as visible in the photos. Apart from that, the box is intact. Some LP's are doublers and some are single LP's.
Includes shows from Fillmore East 1970, Boston 1969, LA and German shows from 1981 as well as Indiana, 1974, to name but a few. The wikipedia or Discogs pages offer more detailed info.
