Description
Complete and original STEREO UK 1st pressing of Frank Zappa's first solo album, Hot Rats.
This copy is complete with non-laminated gatefold sleeve with both Bizarre & Reprise records logos to the front. The vinyl has the 1st press tri-colour Reprise Records labels with 'Distributed by PYE Records' crossed through.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT
Visually the vinyl is glossy and clean. Only very light hairline marks can be seen in bright light. The labels are bright and clean. EXCELLENT. The audio is fantastic, quiet lead-ins to both sides and in between tracks. There is great channel separation, clear vocals and punchy bass. There are no pops, skips or jumps. NEAR MINT.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD+
The sleeve looks great. The front is clean with bright colours. There is subtle rubbing to 'FRANK ZAPPA'. All other sides are clean without staining or discolouration. There is no sign of ring wear, readable spine with some wear, top and bottom edge without wear, and corners with very mild rounding.
Inner Sleeve: VERY GOOD+
The die cut inner sleeve looks great. It has no staining, only subtle discolouration and shows only minimal creasing. Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
