About This Record. This a very cool offbeat different label variation of Frank Zappa's LP entitled Ruben and the Jets with the Mothers of Invention of course! I am not sure what to make of this label; I've collected Zappa records for 35 years and have never seen one on this label, or any other release on this label for that matter! It may be a promo as the backround is white, but there is no promo designation. The dead wax has the Verve Records number followed by the MGM number and then "RE" on one side and "-1 PRC" on the other side.
Has anyone else seen this label for a Zappa or any other band? I would be curious to know!

Vinyl Condition. EX+ plays great but has a few light fingerprints
Cover Condition. Gatefold cover is Strong EX with light corner wear. Spine and seams are just fine, light small creasing and rounded corners.
Label Condition. Near Mint on one side, other side has a few spindle marks, so strong EX on the other side.
Insert. No insert! Although I confess I have never seen one of the insert variations that apparently came with this.
About Me. I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years. With a kid in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl or, in this case, pay the last college tuition bills of the year! 99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback! Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine! I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved. This comes in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and new plastic sleeve.
