This LP was released in 1973.

This is a PROMOTIONAL LP.

The cover has a CIRCULAR PINK WB STICKER that reads: “PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE”

“PROMOTION NOT FOR SALE” is printed at the top of both labels.

As you probably know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were ONLY released by record companies to the radio stations and DJs for airplay. They were produced in very small/limited quantities and were NOT made available for sale to the general public; therefore, many promotional records have become highly sought after by vinyl collectors and fans of certain recording artists/bands.

This LP has 7 tracks. SIDE 1 TRACKS are: “Camarillo Brillo”, “I’m The Slime”, “Dirty Love” and “Fifty-Fifty”. SIDE 2 TRACKS are: “Zomby Woof”. “Dinah-Moe Humm” and “Montana”.

There is a LARGE GLOSSY GREEN & WHITE STICKER adhered to the cover at top right corner that has the LP title “Over-nite Sensation”and “Frank Zappa and the Mothers” printed on it. This is an UNCOMMON STICKER that is not often found on stock copies of this LP. It is most likely on this one due to it being promotional.

The cover also has the ROUND PINK WB PROMO STICKER that reads “PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE”.

The COVER is in VG CONDITION. It has a clipped corner that was also done to designate the LP as promotional. The cover has moderate overall wear including wear on the corners and edges. There is some light partial ring wear on the rear cover. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO TEARS and NO NICE on this cover.

The VINYL is in VERY NICE VG+ CONDITION with just some very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs. The PROMOTIONAL LABELS are CLEAN and SNOWY WHITE!
It’s a VERY NICE ZAPPA & THE MOTHERS PROMOTIONAL LP for someone’s vinyl collection.
FYI: I used Goldmine Grading Standards (P for Poor, F for Fair, G for Good, G+ for Good Plus, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY GRADE this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
