Description
This is a record by Frank Zappa called We're Only In It For The Money. It is a promo record. It is a mono recording. A fellow E-Bayer informed me that regular issue mono recordings of this record were not produced/released . It was recorded by Verve Records as V-5045. The vinyl is glossy with plenty of light scuffs and light scratches, along with one serious scuff/scratch of about an inch and a half on side one at the beginning of the record. This is quite an unattractive mark on the record that causes loud tics through most of the play on this area. The record plays through without skipping with obvious loud tics through this serious scratch and then a few much less loud tics in other parts of the play of the record. Most of the record can be played and enjoyed without the tics. The labels are clean but show spindle trails. The cover has a half inch seam split with paper loss on the spine at the middle. It has a three inch seam split at the top right hand corner on the second half of the gatefold cover. It has a fourth inch seam split at the top right hand corner of the first half of the gatefold cover. It shows cornerwear, edgewear with paper loss, ringwear, surfacewear, and creasing on the corners and at the perimeter. It comes with the insert you see pictured. It shows foxing on the back, multiple light creases, and a heavy crease at the bottom right hand corner.

On Aug-10-13 at 18:38:08 PDT, seller added the following information:I played the Frank Zappa record again, and this time I could detect at least three, and possibly four or five quick non-repetitive skips in the area of the serious scratch/scuff. Some tics are heard in other parts of the record, but the skips are found only in the seriously scratched area that measures about an inch and a half on side one.
On Aug-13-13 at 18:27:22 PDT, seller added the following information:I have added some photos to show the printing found in the bottom right hand corner area on back of the cover, the absence of printing at the top right hand corner on the back, and the paper loss/seam split at the midpoint on the spine.
