"She Couldn't Dance" / "Hey You" HANNA-BARBERA ACETATE RECORD
Description: Up for your consideration is mono reference, two-sided 10" acetate 45 RPM disc featuring the songs "She Couldn't Dance" and "Hey You (Hiddy Hiddy Hoo)" from the 1966 "Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles" Hanna-Barbera cartoon. The songs are credited to "The Impossibles" and features upbeat numbers with male vocalists.
This disc predates the cartoon and was probably used by the animators during the initial production. This record comes from the estate of Paul Maher, a former archivist at Hanna-Barbera Studios.
The record includes the production company's custom HBR label with typed titles and is housed in a vintage, audiodiscs paper sleeve. The vinyl surface also includes the song titles written in grease pencil along the record's edge. The songs are numbered BN-8 and BN-9.
Contents:
- BN-9 "She Couldn't Dance"
- BN-8 "Hey You (Hiddy Hiddy Hoo)"
Label: Hanna-Barbera Records
Condition: BN-9 side with "She Couldn't Dance" is in very good condition and plays very well. BN-8 side with "Hey You" has hash mark that looks like the record company tried to canceled the song. Surprisingly, it still plays but with an obvious click through the last half of the song. Please be sure to see the last photo in the group.
